About me

Hi! I’m Jeni, a writer and educator living in Denver, CO. You can often find me with a book in one hand, a pen in the other, and I might just have headphones in my ears listening to my newest audiobook or my favorite podcasts on writing. I’ve recently finished my debut novel and am querying now. So, if you’re an agent or an editor (or you know one), please reach out!

In addition to my writing life, I teach courses such as Strategic Communications Writing, Communication Theory and Process, Brand Strategies, and more at the University of Denver. I'm a seasoned communications professional with experience in almost every facet of marketing and public relations, but telling stories through powerful writing is what I do best.

I hold a B.A. in English Literature and Film Studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and an M.A. in Public Communication from American University in Washington, D.C.
